About Us

Pina began in 2020 with resin, colour, and a restless curiosity that refused to stay small.

Named after our great-grandmother, Giuseppina, a woman who understood intuitively that what you wear is an extension of who you are. She was never without colour. Never without jewellery that meant something. Her spirit is the foundation of everything we make.

Founded by Courteney Krauss and now run as a sibling duo alongside her brother Blade, Pina is a family business in the truest sense, built on shared taste, mutual trust, and a genuine obsession with getting the details right.

We design collections in small batches, from Cape Town, bold enough to start a conversation, considered enough to last a lifetime. What began as experimentation has evolved into sculptural forms, vibrant enamel, and pieces that have found their way into the pages of Vogue Portugal, The New York Times, and Visi, and into the lives of people who believe jewellery should be worth keeping.

We collaborate with local and international creatives who share our commitment to quality and originality. Our pieces are stocked in Cape Town boutiques including AKJP and Strangers Club, and we have worked alongside LoveShackFancy, Moda Operandi, Behnaia, and Studs New York.

For us, jewellery has always been more than adornment. It carries memory. It marks moments. It moves between hands and across generations. Pina is made for everyone, for the everyday and the extraordinary, for the person who wants to feel most like themselves.
